Texans, Texas Lottery partner for scratch-off game

Megan Manfull of the Houston Chronicle reports the Houston Texans have officially partnered with the Texas Lottery. They signed their agreement this week, making them the first NFL team in the state with this type of partnership. The Dallas Cowboys are still finalizing an agreement of their own with the Texas Lottery.
The Texans will have their own $5 scratch-off game, which will be available throughout Texas. It will begin around the start of the NFL season, but no exact date has been set. Fans will be able to win up to $100,000, and they can enter to win exclusive Texans prizes.
An official announcement about the Texans’ deal will be made Tuesday.
