ya, 30-40 is about average for him.. he could easily get even more than 40 tds this year though..

man the insight in this thread is boggling my mind, LOL. I think that obviously he is peyton manning and 30-40 is a broad enough speculation to allow everyones predictions. Some will say that since they lost edge the numbers will get higher. But one could also say that edge was a master at picking up the blitzes and knew the audibles so well that anyone else back there might hurt the passing game to an extent. I think that peyton delivers the ball so fast that it won't matter too much. (they might give up a few more sacks) Rhodes is a viable backup and has played with the team long enough to pick up more than enough slack lost by edge leaving. Dude's got plenty of weapons to put up high TD numbers.

How's that for an exact number? Based off the average of his passing and rushing touchdowns for the last 8 years (rounded up). Probably not the best system to predict the number of touchdowns Peyton will score, but at least it is a system based off some degree of statistical figures. Better than nothin', I suppose.
