Last time I checked, Sanders doesn't play defensive line and without penetration by the D-line, then the oline can just take out the LB's and allow the RB's to run wild. In fact the only time that their run defense was good was when Simon was there and was healthy. Until they get some solid DT's, I don't care if Sanders is playing, he won't do squat against 300+ linemen.

Freeney deserved more money, but not THAT kind of money. Highest paid defensive player ever should be the best defensive player in the league. It's arguable whether he's even the best on that team.

he can be a great pass rusher, CAN BE, but he is terrible against the run, I know he is an end, but he is terrible against the run, terrible LOL

The guy is like Rice. He can shine, but then he can suck bad. The guy has done great the past few years to where he earned a LITTLE more money. He has many flaws for his spot, he isn't as strong as wanted, not as effective on the run as wanted, not consistant, but he is still good...............just not that good.
