I think they have the potential every year, but the common thing that will appear in this thread like many others is the choke factor. I think peyton should get at least one before his career is over though, how long was elway labeled a choker?

the dolphins? havent they been picked to do big things in the preseason for quite a while? they are just the trendy dark horse pick. dont see them doing a whole lot this year?

The Colts Door to the super bowl is always wide open, they just always run into the super bowl champs in the playoffs

If they had Vinatieri last year, they would`ve been in the Superbowl. He was a brilliant pickup for them, but it might be a year too late. If they can forget about last season, and start fresh, I think they are the team to beat in the AFC. Dungy is one of the good guys in sports, and I am rooting for him.

with our offense we have a chance to win any game. with our defense getting better we are truly a threat. im looking for bob sanders, corey simon, freeney, and a vastly improved marlin jackson to led a defense that gives up yards, but few big plays, not many points, and is no longer a joke. on offense i think manning will continue to take what defenses give him, while replacing james is impossible (he is a top three back in league in terms of an all around game) i think addai will add a big play possibility on the ground that we havent had in a few years. wayne should have a very solid season, with marvin (still the man on this team) staying consistently spectacular. i agree that the addition of adam the kicker was huge for us- mike never really fit in with the team. it will be an interesting season with the afc as deep as it is.

I looking forward to seeing mathis And Brock as the bookends once Freeney leaves
i do believe Freeney is the top Dend in the league, but he'll want too much money to stay in indy after this season

Brock is being moved to DT i heard, since MAthis will take the other spot this year

i assume he'll move back once freeney's gone

the colts were fortunate last year in that they played the easiest schedule. To only play 1 team with a winning record heading into the buy was blessing(that team was the Jags and they gotta play them twice at some point).Over the last 10 games (inc playoffs) they allowed an avg of nearly 21 pts per game. I have said the offense was good pre dungy and the defense has not gotten as good as they hoped and I still stick by that.Having said that they didnt do much to improve it in the off season. In those last 10 games they played 6 games against teams that were playoff teams and went 7-3. They play 10 games this year on the reg schedule against teams that I think are playoff caliber. If they dont get homefield throughout they wont go to the SB.
