Vinatieri is OK to kick: Andrus

Adam Vinatieri apparently is feeling fine, which would explain the malaise that visited Shane Andrus over the weekend.


Andrus, a first-year place-kicker, was among the players waived by the Indianapolis Colts to reach the NFL-mandated 53-player roster limit. His release was the direct result of Vinatieri's left, or plant, foot being sound enough for Vinatieri to kick against the New York Giants in Sunday night's regular-season opener.
