Edgerrin James Back
Is Edgerrin James coming back? His contract is up, and I don't think the colts have enough money to resign him. With Peyton's contract and Marvin Harrison's, they might have to give up Edgerrin. They will need to resign Freeney and Wayne too.
I would hate to see him leave, but I would not blame him for leaving because he cannot get paid. The loss of Edge would be easier if they could get Maroney in the draft too.

with him looking for trades last offseason i really think he has played his last game with the Colts, but if he wants to win he should stay right where he is.

I dont know if he will leave he wanted to go back to Miami but they do not look like they need or want another RB. He might decide that he has it good right where he is.

There's little if any chance the Colts can afford to keep him. Miami doesn't need a third good running back though. The Colts need to take the money they will now be saving, option a half decent, non-star RB, and build up the Oline and defense some more to prevent a repeat of this year's failure. Edge needs to seek his fortune somewhere else. He can probably take a lousy team with no current running game to the playoffs by himself if he has a good line to stand behind. So, send him to Arizona. Or Buffalo. Yes, Buffalo. And Mickey, you send Brad Johnson to Buffalo too. Vikings don't need him once Culpepper gets back, and he'd be a good enough fit that the Bills can get rid of the aptly-named Lossman. A few other changes here and there, and Viola! Instant playoff caliber team.

Well Daunte isn't going to be back right away so i think we would be wise to keep him until we know Daunte is as close to 100% as possible.

The last I heard Cullpepper was up for trade. I thought last year that the Eagles would have made a push for him or Alexander. Westbrook is good but they need a good power back. J. Lewis would be a cheaper fit for them though.

Culpepper is a QB not an RB. Either I'm confused here or you are...

You were talking about sending Brad Johnson to Buffalo and what I have heard is that Cullpepper is the one that could be heading out. I then added on some of my thoughts about the RBs, I should have seperated it from the other but I was too lazy.

Ahh. I figured it was me, I get confused a lot. I thought you were saying Culpepper was gonna RB for the Eagles lol. Where did you hear that he's up for a trade though? I had heard around the end of season that the Wilfs liked him and wanted to rebuild the team around him. Brad Johnson is getting old besides. He's good, really good, but he won't be around long enough to be a franchise QB...

Here is one place and there are some more. Enough that there could be some truth behind it but not enough to say it is a sure thing.
