I would have to say that the Colts bid to repeat is over before it even has a chance to get started. With all that they lost this off-season, not only will they not repeat, I think they'll have a tough time just making the playoffs. They generally always have a bad defense and with who they lost ( McFarland, Reagor, Simon, June, David, Harper, and Doss ) I think their defense is going to be simply horrible this season. The Colts have no beef to stop the run, their going to have two new starting corners, and they really can't count on Bob Sanders ( 4 starts during the regular season in 2006 ) to stay healthy.

Offensively, unless Tarik Glenn decides to come out of retirement Peyton Manning might be on his back more than he would like. I know that you Colts fans are excited about the potential of Joseph Addai and you should be because he's a good young back, but while he was at LSU, he had trouble staying healthy throughout his college career. Now that Dominic Rhodes is in Oakland, the Colts only have one back that they can rely on.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade I just wanted to point out the obvious and the obvious points to no repeat.

I would not want Tank Johnson. I would take Sapp in his prime but can he play like that anymore ? If so........new word is that the Broncos may get rid of Warren, and the Colts may take an interest.

Way to go Duds, it's pretty bad *** how you just made up an argument that I wasn't even close to making, and also way to forget that you and me were on the same side of this argument repeatedly in other threads...

..."Manning can't do it all by himself" somehow means "Manning is a playoff choker?" WTF Duds. I said the rest of his team stepped up their play so the Colts finally won. Manning didn't win the SB. The Colts did. Same applies to Brady. Brady didn't "win" a single Lombardi. But the Pats won 3.

amybe you forgot that you qualifiesd his success by pointing out he was only successful in the regular season in 06 05 and 04

the tank Johnon hate is a media driven load of ****.

bengal fans said the same **** about Corey Dillon. these guys aren't nearly as bad as the media makes them out to be...have you heard anything from TO this season?

Don't pass up a quality interior lineman simply because sean salisbury says he's a thug.

From what I've read on the Indy boards, the word is out that the Colts might consider Tank based on Lovie putting in a good word for him.
