Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports the Colts running game was a lightning rod for criticism in 2008. It ranked No. 31 in yards per game and No. 32 in yards per attempt. The 3.4 yards-per-attempt average is the fifth lowest in club history.
"Our ability to rush the football was completely unacceptable last year,'' Irsay said. "It was more of a miracle that we were able to disguise the problem so much and go so far and do so much with it being such a problem.''
When you think of the Colts offense you do not think of RUN but I have to admit that I did not notice that they were that bad running the ball last year.
