Hi I am Tom and 16 and live in England

I am a very big football (soccer fan) and support Aston Villa

but I watched last year Superbowl not knowing any of the rules and just decided to follow the Cardinals.
I watched the Superbowl last night and found it more enjoyable that last year due to that I understood the game better and know roughly what was happening.

any way I kinda joined this site so I could talk to other Football fans

thanks was to bad that the Cardinals lost to the Saints in the NFC Play-Offs could of made 2 Superbowl's in a row

Yeah, the Saints were just too much this season. What do you think about Kurt Warner retiring?

well it is a bad hit for the team but he is great and I think the team can come back stronger next season

1 player dosent make a team

I agree that one player doesn't make the team but one player can make or break that team. You watched the Colts yesterday, look at how much Peyton Manning means to them. Everything is about Manning on that team. The Colts need Peyton Manning, with out him I think they fall from being a Super Bowl contender to maybe not even being a playoff contender.

The Cardinals are going to have problems with Warner gone, I would be very surprised if they are above 8-8 next season.

I agree with you on the Peyton Manning he is just amazing.
I would be happy for Play-Offs this season
might be optermistic but I dont fully know how good every team is yet.
what players are great and the poor ones.
What teams are in each area

Well there are two conferences, the AFC, and the NFC. 16 teams in each conference. The elite teams are the Patriots, Steelers, Colts, and Chargers. They are all from the AFC, the NFC has good teams but they aren't the same each year. I guess you could make an argument for the Eagles being an elite NFC team but their main problem is that they haven't won a Super Bowl in a while.

Anyways, there are four divisions in each conference, East, West, South, North. So the NFC North is one division just like the AFC South is another. You can look at the home page of the forum to see all the teams.
