So proud of this football team.
I am so proud of my Jaguars for the efforts they have been playing with this season. Almost our 3rd shutout of the season today and we are now 5-3. We have to be one of the most resiliant teams ever to play a season. Look at us.
Marcus Stroud - Pro Bowl DT.
Been out for several weeks with a bad ankle. No word on when he will be back.
John Henderson - Pro Bowl DT.
Didn't play this week with a ham string pull. Should be back next week but as we've seen all year these hamstring injuries can last longer than expected.
Mike Peterson - Our Defensive leader/Pro Bowl level MLB.
Out for the season with a torn pectorial.
Rashean Mathis - One of the elite CB's today/NFL INT Leader.
Went out today with a hamstring injury. Should be back next week but see as I said for John Henderson. You can't be sure with the hamstring.
Reggie Hayward - Our top pass rusher.
Out for the season with a torn ACL.
Greg Jones - Starting Fullback.
Out for the season with a ACL injury.
Byron Leftwich - Starting QB.
Been out with a ankle injury the past 2 games.
Clint Ingram - Backup LB.
Out for the season.
Matt Jones - Our #1 WR.
Back now but missed 3 or 4 games earlier in the year.
Even with all of this we are still 5-3. We've still posted 2 shutouts, and real close to a third. We are still in the race for a wildcard birth as well. We have to be the most beat down team around yet we still chug along and win. I'm very proud of these guys and hope they keep it up. I also hope our guys that are not out for the season come back soon.
