Evans. Walker was outstanding 3 years ago, but other than that has been decent. Evans is still improving, and has to grow with Losman. JP wouldn't be the QB he is without Evans. Evans would be just as good without him.

imo you couldn't really go wrong with either of them. yeah, you're probably not going to win any lob jumpballs w/ lee evans, but he's also almost 3 years younger than walker.

flip a coin imo.

Evans, although I wouldn't consider either one to be someone around whom I'd want to build a team. IMO, few receivers fit that bill.

Well I didn't go in-depth about Evans, I only explained the reasons why I thought Javon was the better and more versatile receiver. I did not say that Evans was just a deep threat or something though, merely that he wasn't as versatile as Javon. I agree with you when you say that Evans is more than a deep threat. I just think Walker is more versatile, for the reasons I stated.

Oh right, because it's so obvious who was the better receiver last year. I saw more Broncos games than Bills games last season, I'm not going to deny that, that very likely could have influenced my opinion. But it's amusingly self-righteous of you to act as if it takes a homer to think Walker is better than Evans, when you can't even explain in more than one sentence why Evans is better. I feel Javon Walker changes games and has more capabilities than does Evans as I described. He's a big play guy in three different ways(deep balls, screens and other short passes, and WR reverses), but he also can do dirty work(blocking) very well. In any case I know from watching Walker last season that he was a pretty dominant player when he was in, and did a lot to help out the otherwise underperforming Denver Broncos offense. If Champ Bailey did not have such an oustanding year, Javon was probably the best player on the team last season. And I'm not the only one who was heavily impressed with Walker's play last season, nor are Bronco homers.

But Evans can do all those things as well if not better than Walker that you mentioned.

Just because a guy doesn't put up big numbers on his height and weight doesn't mean he's not talented fighting for balls or being physical before and after a catch.

Both are talented for sure in all facets of the game.

I worry about how much Evans seems to dissapear for stretches. I've always liked him in that class though.

I think that has to do with being double covered constantly with his complimentary receivers being Peerless Price, Josh Reed, Robert Royal and Roscoe Parrish.

Not many top receivers have as little help around him as Evans does.

The Bills also had the least number of passing attempts in the NFL last year, yet Evans was still able to put up big numbers.

Based on what I have seen, I don't agree. Walker seems to be better in those areas overall.

Well that is because of the fact that Buffalo had all of the crappy WRs you mentioned, and J.P. Losman was confident to go to Evans but not the others. But this information does pretty much prove your point that his supposed dissapearing for stretches has to do with other factors. Anyway, I'm not knocking Evans, I just think Walker is a bit better.
