Evans, although I wouldn't consider either one to be someone around whom I'd want to build a team. IMO, few receivers fit that bill.

Wide receivers are over valued these days. If you don't have a line that can block, a QB that can make decisions, and an offensive coordinator that will call the right plays that receiver will never touch the ball. See Randy Moss.
I like the way the Niners have been building. Establish a running game and blocking while you bring a young QB up to speed. Then worry about who you throw the ball to.

batw, us buffalo fans know what we have. i'm just inquiring about what the rest of the teams' fans think about him.

I've been curious too what other fans think of him cause he doesn't get a lot of pub as a quiet receiver who doesn't trash talk or do end zone dances.

I think that has to do with being double covered constantly with his complimentary receivers being Peerless Price, Josh Reed, Robert Royal and Roscoe Parrish.
Not many top receivers have as little help around him as Evans does.
The Bills also had the least number of passing attempts in the NFL last year, yet Evans was still able to put up big numbers.

That might be it, but then that points to him being a #2 and not a #1, which is my concern. Is he a "Moulds" or is he a "Price"? The league's best get open no matter who covers them, or who is on the other side.

While it's true he should get open no matter who covers them and what not, you combine double coverage with Losman sometimes only throwing the ball 17-22 times a game and he's going to have those games where he's not much of a factor. I think this year the Bills plan to open up the passing game much more with Losman maturing and you will see much more consistent performances out of Evans. I guess all I can say is wait and see at this point, but I do know where you are coming from.

If its an issue where the offense just doesn't put the ball in the air for periods of time, then yeah. That isn't his fault at all. Hines Ward has suffered the same result.

evans, he is not messed up mentally from someone dying in his arms. However, if this were not the case, I would go with walker.

Man, I knew Evans was good, but I didn't know he was THAT good
Either way, I'd rather have Walker just because he's a Bronco and my favorite player. He's also proven that he can play at a very high consistent level for more than a year.

Big suprise ... the Bills fans like Evans and the Bronc fans like Walker.
And on a side note ... I think its silly to doscount Walker because someone died in his arms. Nobody knows if that will have any effect what so ever. And really, logically, it shouldn't. That would be a long shot for that to be the case.

I was gonna say you should know first hand of a situation like that with Ward, even though he and Evans aren't the same kind of player.
