The truth about our WR's.
It hurts to say it but our WR's totally suck. They are all so big and athletic but that isn't everything when you can't catch.
Reggie Williams has had 3 good games in 3 years and drops more passes than he catches.
Ernest Wilford is decent but he's a slow, possesion reciever who comes and goes. Inconsistant.
Matt Jones is a freak athlete but he's soft. He avoids getting hit and making the tough grabs. He's also very inconsistant. He'll make amazing grabs and then drop every pass to him the next game.
No wonder Del Rio wants to just run, and play defense. No wonder he wanted Garrard at QB. Our 2 best receivers are Jones-Drew and Taylor our 2 RB's. That's def. no good. I'd say bring back Lefty but what's the point when we have so many dropped balls? Another loss to Houston is pathetic. 6 of Houston's 21 franchise wins are against us. I don't know what it is about them but today it was our WR's dropping balls and Garrard making bad passes. I say just run, and play defense until we get a real #1 WR. I wish all those rumors about trading for Moss earlier this season were true. We could use him.
Also, I get we were down all game but we were never down big to were we should stop trying to run. Fred Taylor only had 12 carries averaging 5 per. What the Hell is that?
