The Vikings have reportedly agreed in principle to send Troy Williamson to the Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
Trades can't become official until free agency begins at 12:00 ET Thursday night. The sixth-rounder can likely escalate to fourth- or fifth-round pick if Williamson makes the team and contributes. The Jags will have to teach him how to catch for those things to happen. It remains to be seen if the Jaguars will alter Williamson's rookie deal, which can void after the '08 season. i don't understand why the jaguars keep on trying to get more and more wide recievers after dropping ernest wilford, i know that ernest wilford was REALLY good and it will be gard to replace him but signing several wide recievers isnt going to replace ernest wilford no matter how many recievers we sign
Wilford wasn't that good hence the reason why they didn't re-sign him and why they are bringing in other WR to replace him, if a couple of them actually turn the corner they could have a deadly offense.
