Carl Peterson is too cheap. I fully expect Law to sign someplace else if there are more than one team in the mix. Hell, he tried to low ball Ed Hartwell, and ended up getting stuck signing Bell. He tried to low ball Rolle, then leaked the narrowing of the spinal column info to steer other teams away. All he did was make sure Rolle wouldn't sign with Kansas City. The Chiefs have had some decent teams recently, but they won't get over the hump as long as Carl Peterson is in charge.
I do have to give credit where credit is do though.....Larry Johnson was a Peterson pick all the way. That's why the friction between LJ and Vermeil existed early on.
