Default Chiefs and Turley agree in principle

Chiefs | Turley agrees to two-year deal
Sun, 11 Jun 2006 11:13:14 -0700

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports free agent OT/TE Kyle Turley (Rams) is about to make his return after being gone from the league for two years. Turley has agreed in principle on a two-year deal to join the Kansas City Chiefs. The deal has yet to be completed, but the Chiefs believe that will happen Monday, June 12, when he also takes a physical for the team. Turley has agreed to play tackle in Kansas City, but they may also utilize him as a tight end, too. Turley has reportedly dropped around 50 pounds since he used to play tackle with the New Orleans Saints.

This guy will be a beast blocking TE. I don't see how he can play tackle at about 250ish.

Can you say cancer? I mean look at what he did with the Aints and the Rams. That is now what the Chiefs have to put up with.

Cancer??? When I hear the word cancer I think of guys like Keyshawn, and T.O.

Fill me in, maybe I missed the drama Kyle T. caused. I didn't realize he was like that.

Throwing his helmet at people while w/Saints. Threating to kill Mike Martz, etc.

He threw a Jets player's helmet, after he tried to intenntionally injure Aaron Brooks. That I will respect. An O-linemen's job is to protect his QB, no matter what the situation. Killing Mike martz, I never heard that one. Although, I don't really like Martz much.

turley has gotten a bad rap, He is a gamer that gives it all on the field and can get a little animated.
