The Associated Press reports Kansas City Chiefs DL Tamba Hali passed his test to become a U.S. citizen Tuesday, Aug. 1. A native of Liberia who fled the country at the age of 10, Hali wound up waiting nearly eight hours to go through the citizenship process. Hali said, "They called me up, I went inside, took the test and passed it. I waited a couple of more hours and got sworn in and signed my certificate." As a citizen, it should be easier for family members to come to the United States. He has not seen his mother since his father took him out of Liberia.
