Not really that old. But maybe he's pulling a Rickey Williams? or He has plenty of money and not much ambition left?

Holmes had a fluke neck injury as a result of a tackle I thought. Bennett should be a great 3rd down back for some receptions out of the backfield. This guy could do some damage getting screen passes or routes over the middle behind the linebackers. His size doesnt allow him to break tackles and get to the second level. But in his role behind Johnson he should have some moments.

The Chiefs are the best fit for Bennett. He has a slashing style with great speed. A lot like Holmes. I think this was a great trade for the Chiefs.

Who in the football world has not heard of Priest Holmes? Now about Priest I heard on local sports today that his specialists were not going to release him yet to have contact. As far as Bennet, I don't know alot about the guy but he has to be better than what the Chiefs have behind Johnson.

That's what I heard as well, but the Chiefs made the right move. They can not just sit back and wait for him and then not have another option. Bennett in a back up role brings their "lightning" into the mix and IMO will be a nice fit as a back up in KC and a nice option in case Priest doesn't make it back.

Bennet may be fast, but thats it. He can't break any tackles and if he doesn't have a gapping hole he'll never get out of the backfield. It's not a bad trade, but they better not want to much from him or they will be greatly dissapointed, much like the Vikings were.

even when he was a #1 for the Vikings he usually only got 10 carries a game and usually only got 20 yards a game. Unless he would break off a 60 yard run he was a dissapointment every game.
