Andy Studebaker's Pro-Day Workout:
Studebaker posted a 33 1/2-inch reach, a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-7 broad jump, a 1.59 and 1.61 10-
yard dash, a 2.63 and 2.65 20-
yard dash, a 4.60 and 4.61
40-
yard dash, a 4.14-second 20-
yard shuttle, a 6.81-second three-cone drill and a 11.59-second 60-
yard shuttle. He measured in a 6-foot-3 1/8, 250 pounds with 10 1/8-inch hands.
Those numbers were very Urlacher-esque IMO. His ability to train for only 4 weeks prior to the Pro-Day work-out at Northwestern hurt his forty time, as he had previously run a legit sub 4.5. I think his bench numbers were somewhat of a disappointment, as he
only was able to put up 23 reps.

Bottom line, this dude is a rare athlete. He didn't train at one of the pre-combine factories that inflates (enhances) numbers to get players drafted higher despite lack of any real production (Akili Smith) at the collegiate level. Studebaker did this basically on the fly while recovering from his Lisfranc injury. And...he was a major factor in D-III, even when 3 lineman were thrown at him. Couple all that with rock-solid character and work ethic, and this guy could go far. All he needs is a chance. Fortunately, the Chiefs are giving it to him.
