This will the be first time since Cassel went to high school that he is going to be the number one QB on the roster. Last year he showed that he could handle the job of being a starter with NE. But this time around there will be more expected of him and less help around.
Cassel is likely going to struggle this year, with really only Bowe to throw to now that Gonzo is gone. If LJ picks up his game that could help take pressure off Cassel, allowing him to get more comfortable in the offense.
A running game will be incredibly helpful to Cassel. A full camp for Bradley and he might be better than what we're expecting. He sure gave the team a spark last year when he came in mid-season.
What is going on with Johnson? It seemed going into the draft everyone was talking about he Boldin, and Edwards would all be traded and none of it happened.
