If anyone isn't gonna say it, I might as well just throw it out there now. This forum is dying by the day. Sad to see it starting to become what it is, but this is a sad reality we might need to start facing. Barely anyone is posting anything anymore. Sure, most of the chit chat is in the Last Person thread, but this is a football forum. There hasn't been anyone updating anything and people are starting to leave (or become less and less active). New year will bring new things. We need some more active members to keep things going. They seem to come, see no one posts on the day they join, and then leave. We need to start fixing that. There's headlines everyday we need to capitalize on.....

I still say this forum needs to be compacted so there's no so many forums. It's way too overwhelming looking, despite "Latest Posts."

A lot of these forums should be hidden until you click the main forum of that top which then opens them up. Just my two cents.

And I suppose I can cut down on the other stuff, I haven't been as active ever since I started IMing and texting people here. What can I say the phone is a lot more convenient for me

If you're going to redesign the forum a little bit, here's a few things I've noticed.

The most active forums have places where members and posters will know exactly where all the action is. People that register will be able to see exactly where they can dive right in and start telling fans of rival teams how much they suck, so the fewer the better so conversation is more concentrated.

Anyway, I like this forum
But there is a lot of forum fat I think you could shave.

After you trim some of it I'll pick an epic fight with Flacco. That'll get things moving.

The NFL forums are a good example. I would just put that all in one forum, man.
NFL drafts and play offs and gameday threads can all just be one forum.
Cleans it up, centralizes everything and then you have one forum way more active then 4 with everything spread out.
