The last 2 weeks here in chicagoland we've had at least 15" of rain. I don't know the official total but I have a rain gauge and every day or two we get 1-2" at a time if not more. Last night we got 1" and this afternoon there were tornado warnings and we got 2.5" more rain. The local rivers/ponds/lakes are above flood stage and peoples yards/houses are getting flooded.

The real killer is 2 weeks ago I fertilized the yard cause ther was a good chance of rain finally, and it hasn't stopped since. Then at work we started our annual maintanence shutdown and I've been working 12+ hours a day since.

I'm mowing my yard and my fathers yard every 4-5 days. WTF?

Please stop...

I hear ya my friend, been cloudy and wet all week here. The creek at the bottom of my hill is rather high outta it's banks right now.

Wow, that's wierd. Right when I went into this thread it started raining here. It's been cloudy and windy here all week. Just started raining today.

Yeah, it seems all the rain you guys got from the leftovers of that tropical storm made it's way out here. Also it's gonna get hot and humid again this week-end.

All around me where i live in Ohio is flooded out. One town had water up to the crossbars on their football field where i played, crazy.

Wow, that's a whole lotta water. That's crazy dude. I would never want to live in a place where a lot of flooding occurs.

Flooding usually isnt even a thought here.

Drove over the fox river on the way home and the bushes above the banks are half under water.

Then that makes that extremely odd. It's wierd because usually over the summer we get pounded with Rain and Thunderstorms from the Hurricanes but we haven't had many this year apparently or they've just missed us because we have gotten like no rain here.
