I am noticing the people that are having problems with their USER CP and editing avatars posts all look different, they are shaded darker than the rest of the posts, maybe that is not a coincidence

I do have another question. Is there a way to keep posts that I haven't read "unread" after logging out? It seems like all posts are "read" after logging out.

the only way that I have been able to get around that is that you have to remember the time that you last were on or the time of the latest new post that you saw, and then click on quick links near the top/left and hit latest posts, it won't keep those ones that are unread actually looking like they are unread, but you knowing the time of the last new post can just go back to the time in the latest posts where you left off.

I have a phpbb forum and there was a modification that fixed that by storing the "last unread" data in the database. What software is this forum? I'm sure there is a fix out there.

That's annoying though isn't it?

yes it is, but there really is no other way, I just remember a time not too long ago when they didn't even have the latest posts link under quick links and then you were screwed. Now at least there is one way, as annoying as it seems, it was a godsend to me when it was added because at least I had a way. you know?

Yeah, every little bit helps but I'm sure it could be fixed where posts aren't read unless you actually read them. Just a little code needed.
