Well to me you are more fit to be a fullback if you were to lose about 15-20 pounds, because of the height. Most linebackers are 6'3 or so, so you'd be undersized at a higher level unless you got taller. But to be a linebacker you have to be good at passing coverage, and also big enough to stop runs and to occasionally blitz. I'd say you'd need to lose about 20 pounds and add muscle if you truly wanted to be a linebacker.

Default Lb

Obviously the past 2 threats are “fantasy football players” and have no idea of what is involved in becoming a college football player. It is based on individualism that can be a combination of dedication and individual training. (“my LB are 6”3”, what fantasy football team do you coach?) There are plenty of colleges that would want a 6FT LB, it is not your height and weight but your heart, soul and speed in the game and how you fit in the defensive scheme. What percentage of your soul are you giving to the game and practice when others are quitting because it is too hard. Have you talked to a current college LB to see what they go through? You can do it through athletestrainingathletes.net. I have trained kids who went to DI and DII schools. Have you gone through 1on1 against a college LB, running back or OL. Email me through the site and I will do better than these fantasy football player questions, I will get you one on one with a college player.

I'm pretty sure the creator of this topic won't be around to reply to you...

Welcome to the boards, though.
