How many has Favre had? Marino? Elway? McNabb? Manning? Ok so he was clutch...what does that have to do with being bad? I don't get the point of that stat...so what he had 21 comebacks...he still sucked. Does that make him good?
Oh...I get it....you need something to hold onto after seeing 4 20+ INT seasons in 6 years and this is the best you can do? LOL Good one!

my point is that you were comparing joey to plummer saying they both sucked and that is a reason to say that there is still hope for joey, I was saying that plummer at least gave you some semblence of a reason to think that he might have a chance somewhere, joey have given ZERO reason to think that he can succeed anywhere.
You have to admit that it takes some leadership qualities to lead a team back in the fourth quarter that many times.with garbage around him. He at least still had the respect of his teammates as poor as they were.
Joey has commanded zero respect and in fact his team has called for his head at times. He looks unmotivated and has no leadership qualities that are noticeable.
For that reason I say that plummer at least showed signs of being good and joey has shown nothing to think he can be good anywhere.

harrington landed in the worst place possible to start a career. as a top 5 draft pick, you know there is going to be tons of pressure to excel right away. what you don't count on is having a GM whose brain was scrambled years ago in his playing days, and who has no business running a team. harrington's demise has been every bit as much the fault of matt millen as it has been his own. millen thought that by throwing 3 supposed "all star" calibur WR's his way he'd make harrington an instant stud, when all he did was neglect the rest of a horrible team. joey was set up to fail from day one in detroit.

Yup! I am anxiously awaiting Turkey day, and praying that Joey is playing.

Harrington had nothing in Detroit city. He has God knows how much talent because it has never been pulled from him by any coach in the NFL. He could be a solid starter if Miami coaches make him.

i think harrington sucks and always will, I have to see something to believe it. He has shown nothing ever, you would think that in four years, he would have shown something one time at least.

No he has shown nothing...every year is 0 td's for 0 yards and 0 completions and 20 picks....
He shown me that in his 3rd season before the QB controversy crap that he was on his way up....that year was better then any year Jake had in 6 seasons..

once again looking through rose colored glasses, the only time that joey ever did anything was last season when his team could have had the #2 pick in the draft he drove a game winning drive against the saints to give the lions the #9 pick good job joey.

so what you're saying is he should only try part of the time? by that logic, players should just try to lose every game so their team can have a shot at picking #1..... a victory is a victory, regardless of when it comes and what's at stake, so to rip on harrington for bringing his team back to win a game is rediculous. find a good coach who would tell you he wants players on his team who DON'T try to win every game, and I'll reward you with a unicorn
