Saban has the right to know what Harrington is willing to accept before he makes an offer to the Lions.

The idea was to make the trade, get him signed and working with the Fin's system now. If he doesn't sign until June 15th, he'll miss quite a bit.
I think Saban has given in to waiting.

yeah i know that, my point is why would you even trade for someone that is going to get cut and then you can just sign for a lot less money?

he would sign most likely for the same money. MActank is just saying that his reason they do the trade would be to get him in early as possible and get him learning the new system and team as fast as he can.
