Randy Moss was babysitted by Carter for 3 years(I think 3, maybe 2) and look how he turned out. Hes worth a risk to a lot of teams

DAVIE — The Dolphins will get their first look at the team's newest draft class today, when their seven drafted rookies arrive at the training facility.

The rookie mini-camp, which includes six workouts this morning through Sunday evening, is closed to the public.
A group of undrafted free agents also will attempt to impress the coaching staff, including one rookie who will gain considerable attention. Former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick — the brother of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick — still plans to attend.

Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer told ESPN Radio 760 on Thursday that he spoke to Dolphins coach Nick Saban, who called Beamer on Wednesday to inquire about Vick.

"As I told coach Saban yesterday, I'm really pulling for the guy," Beamer told the radio station. "I think he's got a great talent. I really think he's very close to what Michael is, and in time he might be what Michael is. He just needs to play some more right now."

Beamer, who said he stands behind the school's decision to dismiss Vick after a number of on- and off-the-field transgressions, said he hopes his former quarterback eventually can land with the Dolphins.

"We talked about some things," Beamer said. "We'll keep (the conversation) between us. But if Marcus could hook on with his leadership, it could be a good place for him.

"I think Marcus has to get down there and do well. Hopefully, that's going to be the case.

"He's got the ability to do it. He's a tremendously talented guy. Hopefully, it will work out great. He could be good for the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Dolphins could be good for him"

moss pretty much had all his crap behind him by the time he was in the nfl, there was just speculation about his character. Marcus' crap is fresh and current. There is a difference between maybe being a problem and holding up kids with a gun a few months ago. The guy is an A-class jerk in my book.
