With just 27 more shopping days until training camp, here's some Dolphins chatter to tide you over:

• Though jobs are open at safety, linebacker and on the offensive line, front-runners have emerged at each position.

At safety, Jason Allen and Renaldo Hill are in good position to seize starting roles with good training camps. In reserve are Travares Tillman and Yeremiah Bell, who are considered to be ahead of ex-Jaguar Deke Cooper.

yes the dolphins look to be shaping up...jason allen is a very good db from tennessee...he went 18th in the draft was hurt most of the year...

I would love to see 'ole Jason Allen get the starting job after everything that has happened to him.

yep the article says hes in good position to make the starting safety spot...and renaldo hill after his impressive rookie season...in which he was tied for most int for rookie DB...

16th actually my good friend. and i cant wait to see him play. heres a quote from david bowens on jason allen..

Veterans keep buzzing about Allen -- defensive end David Bowens said he rarely has seen a Dolphins safety with the ability ''to come from the opposite side to break up a pass'' like Allen can. (finheaven.com)

also, if they take ahmad brooks then they would be in even better shape possibly.

yeh i knew it was something like that...it says hes going out for safety..is he making the transition for conerback to safety good because i believe in college he was a corner...

good point. im hoping we can land this guy. he wud make our LB corps very solid.

yea he was a corner in college but late in the season switched to safety if im not mistaken. but miami has got sum depth there at CB with will allen and will poole etc. hes also pretty good size for a S too
