I like the vikings draft. Greenway was a good pick and should be a solid LB for them. Him and Hawk will once again be rivals. Griffin is perfect in the cover-2 and could even challenge Fred Smoot. I think this pick ensured dominance over the poor Qbs in the division. Cook was a bit of a reach, but a bruiser who can move to guard. Not sure if he can start. Edwards is a good DE that avoids blockers well and gets to the QB, that was a nice late pick.

They also signed 17 UFA's including HAnk Baskett WR from New MExico that I had ranked as a 4th or higher WR with size and speed and KAnsas CB Charles Gordon who I am surprised went undrafted.

I do think greg blue could end up being the "enforcer" of the defense. the vikes haven't really had an especially hard hitter at the safety spot since robert griffith left (he used to wear 3 snaps on his chinstrap so his helmet wouldn't fly off) and although blue isn't the cover guy you'd like him to be, his presence in the middle of the field could make receivers take their minds off the ball on crossing routes

I agree, I though the vikings did a great job during and afte the draft. Childress knows what he is doing.
