WR Ferguson signs
Access Vikings: » Blog Archive » Ferguson signs
Receiver Robert Ferguson trotted on the field near the start of practice having signed a deal to join the Vikings. Ferguson was cut by the Packers on Friday. A look at Ferguson’s career stats. To make room for Ferguson, the Vikings waived/injured offensive lineman Adam O’Connor (knee).

This is great news. I was happy enough to hear he was gone, but now hearing he's with the Pride.. I'm ecstatic. This will help our chances a LOT this season.

He's not a terrible option for us. At least he's not afraid to take some hits. If anything, he adds veteran leadership to our young recieving core.

And they need that IMO more then anything especially with Rice, Williamson and Wade..I thought it was a good move.

I would have rather gotten Drummond for returning kicks, oh well. Maybe Ferguson will finally live up to his potential?

Good luck with that.. If you can get a full season out of him, you're doing pretty good. I think you guys will learn real quick why we cut him..

ever since moss left, they have had some real problems getting a WR. Hell, really since Carter left, they haven't gotten anyone at all.
