It still doesn't say who will be the starter though...

if we don't get anyone else why wouldn't he be the starter?

They only started winning after he went down this year, and you yourself mentioned just how severe that injury can be..

The major reason why they won after DC went down was the level of competition they faced...when they faced anyone who could play Brad just looked bad, while he is serviceable he is not Daunte.

That theory only works until you consider they beat the Giants pretty handily. Johnson is not mobile or versatile at all, but he is an amazing passer.

not really. the Vikings had a kick return and a punt return and Sharper made a great play. the offense did nothing that game. if they say Daunte is ready then i guess i am ok with it.

He should be, he's young and should heal just fine and if not IMO he has a good enough arm and pocket presence to be just fine.

But Mickey, you will see what good coaching does, Tice was a moron (not my first word of choice) the Vikes have the talent they just didn't have the direction. IMO the North did just what they should have and gathered a lot of good coaching.

I agree about Tice. The Vikings should do fine now that he's gone. I don't know about the whole North though.. You ever hear of Mike McCarthy before last month? I hadn't..
