Randy Moss
I bet the vikes want a deep threat for brad johnson to throw to as in randy moss...i really dont know y they even thought about trading him,he is a great reciever in all categories...i think it was the worst move in years in the NFL.

He certainly is, when he's on, and he's also one of the most athletically gifted receiver in the league. My problem with him is that he's too whiney.
Anyone hear any rumors about him going to the Pats?

He was traded because Red McCombs didn't want to pay him. He has been quoted as saying he had to shake up the team when we were in our funk. He had to decide between "trading Randy Moss or firing Mike Tice"....well, we saw what he did. First, anyways.

It wouldn't matter if we had Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Steve Smith, Tory Holt, and Chad Johnson all on the same team, Brad can't throw it past 20 yards accurately. I really want to see TJack in there as soon as possible, I know he'll make rookie mistakes, but can he play any worse than Brad did against the Patriots?

By trading Moss we were able to get this great defense. We got Harris in the deal and it freed up enough cap room for the Vikings to sign Sharper and Pat Williams. Now i would like this defense over Moss running fly patterns any day.

I don't buy that at all. His last 3 years owning the team, Red only spent the league mandated minimum of the salary cap. Why do you think we always had $25-$30m every year?
Wilf has shwon he's not shy about spending money to get guys here.
