And we H4X0RZPWNZ thier OL, so hopefully he wont get lanes. Because as much as I love Urlacher and Briggs, and as great as I think they are.... this guy is not going to go down on the first hit.

The "take it to the defender" style actually helped keep Payton's career going. Now I don't kow if that will work for AD, but just because a back runs like that doesn't mean his career will be shortened IMO.

If I were Childress, I would want AD to continue doing that. It's what got him this far, and will only get him further instead of having him change styles and possibly stunting his growth.

IBSR probably knows more about his work ethic and such (RB's who run like that tend to weight room junkies), but Im fairly certain that the more you lift the less likely you are to get hurt. Plus, hes always the one delivering the blows... hes going to be really good.

He's a weight room junkie for sure. He ran our fastest 40 last year. That is what makes him special, not only is he big and durable, but he is extremely quick for his size and has the best vision I've ever seen come through Oklahoma, and best in the nation in the last 5 years at least.

Theres no way to guard against freak injuries, they just happen.
But I know for a fact that running style or whatever does not increase chances of getting hurt, same thing with size. Im beginning to wonder why this guy didnt go higher, the more you see what he did at Oklahoma and how you begin to see it translate now... what reason could somebody possibly come up with for passing on him.

no one needed a RB..other than that just injury history really. the guy was uber impressive at the combine. I will certainly miss him. Any OU fan that thinks we won't is blind.

HIS RUNNING STYLE IS PRETTY UPRIGHT WHICH DEFINITELY DOES GIVE A RB A BETTER CHANCE AT BEING INJURED.
AS FOR ALL THE COMPARISONS HIS STYLE IS PRETTY MUCH A CARBON COPY OF ERIC DICKERSON'S IMO.
