The Vikings aren't expected to part ways with Chester Taylor this offseason.
Unless they're offered a second-round pick on draft day, which is unlikely, the Vikings will enter 2008 with Taylor as Adrian Peterson's primary backup. Coach Brad Childress says Taylor offers "a great changeup." Taylor will remain a solid mid-round pick in points per reception leagues, especially for AP owners. Feb. 11 - 12:10 pm et

Peterson and Taylor looks to be a strong tandem - but I do not see the Vikings passing game improving much. It is going to take more than a year of experience from Jackson to shore up this dismal pass offense.....
I think Tony Temple out of Missouri would be an awesome compliment to both C. Taylor and A. Peterson. IDK his history report, but he posted 1000 yard seasons the past 3 seasons. Great pickup in the 3rd-4th round I say. It seems traditional for the Vikings to pick a back they don't need in those two rounds anyway.
Vikings need to trade Taylor while he has value and they have leverage. Chester is not going to be happy being the backup guy again (and deserving so one could argue). I don't know if we can garner a 2nd round pick but we should trade him away. Plus the upcoming draft is stock with talented RB's- surely one could be a fantastic spell guy for AD (*ahem*Tashard Choice*ahem*).
