Skyfall... 9/10. Probbaly the best Bond movie I've ever seen... Really solid movie.
Savages... 8/10. A really solid movie as well. Lots and lots of violence.
The Amazing Spider Man. 8/10... Make you forget about what's his face that played Spidey before.
The Dark Knight Returns Pt. 1 (Animated movie)... 9/10. I know it's an animated movie, but it's seriously good. It's dark, it's rough and it's almost a direct telling of Miller's comic.
"John Carter": 8/10
Complete fantasy, but well-made and full of good action. A lot better than the much-vaunted "Prometheus".
Total Recall (2012): 7/10
A good movie, but Arnie's original was better. This one was more like a futuristic Jason Bourne, although anything with Jessica Biel is worth watching.
They had really great potential here. It didn't really try to scare you but none of them do anyway. Don't even let the movie critics fool you, this was a good edition to the franchise. The reviewers know absolutely nothing and they didn't even think deeply enough of the plot.
I wouldn't have gone that far in rating it... But it was for sure the least of the three movies... RDJ said "Don't expect too much out of it" and he was right. The movie was just "okay"...
But you do realize that he built all the other ones... He could just build another one or two.
I really didn't like the surgery at the end... You're telling me he wouldn't have done that YEARs ago... WTF!? Like when his chest reactor was, oh I don't know... Killing him in the second movie... Might of been a good time to look into that... Just sayin'
There are multiple hints that Ben Kingsley wasn't the main villain. One of them being Guy Pearce being billed before him, and another him being the exact same guy that was stood up. And boohoo about the whole damn wormhole thing. It pretty much took up a quarter of the film. It was TERRIBLE. Not "okay". There were only two action scenes in all and it didn't live up to the hype.
