Week 2 vs NO Saints
I figured I'd get this started earlier this week.
The Giants will face a better test this weekend, both physically and emotionally. The Saints come in riding the emotion wave and do not discount the effect this can have on a team, especially in football. Confidence goes a long way.
DT's Joseph and Clancy will have a much tougher time this week against the Saints interior line. And unlike the cement-footed Kurt Warner, Aaron Brooks is effective in getting out of the pocket and making excellent throws. Antonio Pierce matching up again and containing Deuce McAllister will be a hige key. IMO, McAllister is easily the most underrated RB in the NFL.
Manning will need to continue to progress, but its up to the coaching staff to continue to mix in the excellent run game to give Manning the opportunity to succeed. When Manning looked terrible in the second quarter last week, neither Tiki nor Jacobs touched the ball in those series.
I'll be at the game so I'll let you know if I get any insight.
