Default Giants Beat Philly!

Wow! That Giants - Eagles game was way to close for comfort...In a game the Giants should have won easily, they had a lot of injuries that could end up hurting them later on in the season. They ended up with only two offensive linemen in the positions they started at, and had Fred Robbins, a defensive tackle, ready to go in and play if another offensive lineman got hurt. Eli Manning had a great first half, but choked in the second half, throwing three interceptions in the fourth quarter. But in the end, Jay Feeley kicked the game winner in overtime, finally making a clutch kick, and keeping the Giants on top of the division.

Big win for the Giants as Dallas is still in the rearview. The NFC East is going to come down to the wire, so every game is important for the Giants. I thought they would beat up on an injured Philly team.

It's still hard to tell what team's will be there in the end, but the Colts vs Giants is certainly a Superbowl possibility. Battle of the Mannings? I wonder if brothers have ever faced each other in a Superbowl? Probably not.

Dallas will take the division for sure. The giants have good players, but they're too inconsistent. Look for them to do well in the next year or two. Eli's just not ready yet, not to mention Feely and others that keep having problems. Practice makes perfect, and the giants need more. Your superbowl this year will be indy and seattle. Look for a preview of it on christmas eve in seattle...

I don't expect them to make the Super Bowl this year, however I don't think its impossible for them to do so. Eli Manning has been very inconsistent, but I don't think he is going to truly lose them to many games. If they have any chance of getting to the Super Bowl, their offense line is going to have to stay healthy, and the defense is going to have to step up even more. Manning will have to play better as well, but if he just gets rid of the turnovers, I think he is an above average quarterback, which is all the Giant's offense really needs.
