I heard this on Sirius and then saw a thread posted on extreme and had to post it here.... I travel a lot and love Sirius Radio and the NFL, but sometimes it is truely comical to hear what some of these fools say.

I guess being Skins / Giants week brought out a little more homer in Carl them I usually notice, but he went on to even say that Gibbs was just a lucky coach back in the 80's and the skins were never really good, just made lots of lucky plays

Carl Banks is a genius!!
And he speaks the truth. What he failed to mention was not only that Gibbs got lucky in the 80's, but Gibbs got lucky last season and last week vs. Jacksonville. The 'Skins will live , and yes, die by those big passes to Moss......they are not always going to be successful. And like Carl says.......those are lucky plays. Their luck will run out sooner or later.

i don't think its luck we have playmakers on offense that make Brunell look good. I expect one big play a game from either Portis, Moss, or hell even Randle El.

Carl Banks is usually on the pre-game that comes on before fox's nfl pre-game, and I doubt we'll hear about anything like this there, Newsday, nothing. I mean

If you been hear long enough, you know I dont think much of extreme and I dont post there, just read.... the only reason I mentioned ES was to support what I had heard too since is was on Sirius... Tiki's comments have been replay on "promo spots" for the the "Barber Shop" for a week now, so anyone with Sirius had to hear them by now....
Like I've said before I love having Sirius and it does have a lot of NY homers.... but MOST of them dont come off like that.... Bob Pappa doesnt, but his co-hosts Chris Carter is anoying because he really only thinks he was the only good receiver there ever was or ever will be and Randy Cross is almost as bad... but even when these guys say stuff that you know is ignorant, it's still entertaining...
My favorite hosts would be: Tim Ryan, Pat Kirwan, Jim Miller, Bruce Murry, and Solomon Wilcocks. Adam Schien, Jerry Rice, Bob Pappa, Bryan McGovern, and Daryl Jonston are OK too.
Bob Pappa's great, I wish he'd land a job with a bigger TV station, they only have him on FOX before the games and not many people watch that show.
