Cornerback signs with Packers
By Todd Korth, packrepted@aol.com
Posted Mar 13, 2007
Frank Walker signed a one-year contract with the Green Bay Packers this morning, PackerReport.com has learned. Walker, a backup cornerback with the New York Giants the past four seasons, is the Packers’ first signing in free agency.
The amount of the contract was not disclosed, but it did include a signing bonus, according to the source.
Walker, who turns 26 on Aug. 6, started one game in 2006 and five games overall with the Giants since he was selected in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL draft out of Tuskegee (Ala.). Last year, he found himself buried on the depth chart behind starters Sam Madison and R.W. McQuarters, and fighting for playing time against Corey Webster (a second round draft pick by the Giants in 2005) and rookie free agent Kevin Dockery.
Walker played in 10 games for the Giants last season and finished with nine tackles, no interceptions and no sacks.
Walker met with the New Orleans Saints over the weekend, and was headed to meet with the Seahawks today. Both sides agreed to the deal while Walker was literally on the plane for Seattle at Green Bay's Austin Straubel Airport, according to the source.
Stay tuned to PackerReport.com for more information on Walker later today.
I know next to nothing about this guy, except he's a frightening looking dude.

how is he frightening looking?
Here's the deal with Frank Walker. He's got a knack to get turnovers. But it doesnt matter because if he's not picking the ball off, he's getting burnt, and/or getting called or PI. For your sake I hope he's not in the starting lineup or anywhere near it on D.
He's good on special teams. Not a return man, but he's a good gunner, just overall solid on kickoff and punts.
He's also an *******, I asked him for his autograph at camp, told me to follow him and he made it a point to sign everyone that put stuff in his face but me. Sorry that I recognized you Frank, I know that you were so useless to this team that if I didnt say anything they probably wouldve thought you were a ballboy

I think it's the picture. His eyes look like two little white slits.
Well hopefully he's just a special team body then. I don't want to see him at nickel, from what you said.

Let me just summarize this thread before it happens
GB Fans: He's garbage in coverage and provides little run support. you guys paid to much
NYG Fans: He's a good depth signing and constitutes an "upgrade" to our secondary
Basically, all you have to do is look up any RW McQuarters thread from last year...same thing this time around.

As has been documented in the trash talking forum, I am Retarded and the worst nfl-fans.com member at making posts. Clearly, this also relates to responding to existing threads as well. So, in the future, please try an limit my confusion by relegating threads to one team and one player...thank you
PS...remember that CB Denard Walker the bears wanted to sign but wound up signing with Denver and sucking Horse nuts. Yeah, totally unrelated except for the last name, but this thread made me remember that ordeal.
