Default Eli Cashing In

Quote:

The sudden postseason success of the Giants and quarterback Eli Manning has resulted in some additional earnings for the fourth-year quarterback.

Not to mention whatever they paid him for that Oreo commercial.

Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Manning earned $250,000 when the Giants beat the Buccaneers and another $250,000 when the Giants beat the Cowboys.

And if the Giants should pull off an upset at Lambeau Field, it’ll be another $500,000 for Manning. Win the Super Bowl, and Manning gets yet another $500,000.

That’s a total of up to $1.5 million for a playoff run that, not long ago, looked like it wasn’t gonna happen.
From Profootballtalk.com

Some nice bonuses.

do you guys remember the Giants a few years back that made the "run" with perrenial scrub and yet 2 time championship game appearance Kerry Collins and they destroyed the vikings only to be smashed by the Ravens. If Eli makes it, he could still be like Kerry Collins, lol

that team was led in carries by Ron Dayne and second by Tiki Barber

There are 2 players left from that superbowl team - Strahan/Toomer

Another interesting fact is the Cowboy's Jason Garrett was on that team for a time. LOL

Heh, well the Ravens were domination in every way shape and form that year, so are the Pats, but we played the Pats in the game that is second to the Super Bowl this year and almost destroyed History, Giants - Pats a good matchup yet again?
