Steve Spagnuolo has decided to remain the Giants' defensive coordinator.
It's unclear if the Redskins were planning on making him an offer, but Spags removed his name from consideration before they could. Meanwhile, the Giants announced a new three-year deal for Spags that will reportedly pay him just over $2 million a year. Thank the lord. The reason we got this far is because of Spagunolo, he's a great defensive coordinator. Once Coughlin leaves, Spagunolo will be the new HC. We are actually paying him a HC salary to stick around I think.
