My First Mock Ever.
Alright be easy on me, I don't do this very much, so be easy on me. I'll address the holes I see in my team.
Round 1 Pick 31: The Giants will take Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. This guys stock is on the rise and will only keep going up after the combine and in the coming months. I really would like to see us take him in the first round because I feel like he will be overlooked no matter how well he does.
Round 2 Pick 62: I see us addressing defense once again in this round with us picking Craig Steltz. The reason I see this is because, James Butler is garbage end of story. He's projected for the 3rd and 4th round because of his injuries. But he's an ideal 2nd round pick. I'd love to see him lighting up recievers over the middle because he could definitely do it. Plus he gives Safeties like me hope.
Round 3 Pick 93: I see us going Offense in this round taking D.J. Hall from Alabama. He's a quick reciever with decent height and great heights. Holds almost all the school records at Alabama, and Toomer and Burress are getting up there in age, so bringing in a young'un can only help us.
Round 4: Defense, with us bringing Bryan Kehl OLB from BYU. He's the decent talent that is left in the 4th round and we need some true OLB's. Seeing Kiwanuka trying to cover Tight Ends made me sick. I'm not saying that he should move back, but let's be serious, Kawika isn't the most talented OLB, or scratch that, he doesn't even have to start, but he can be in the ranks, in case one of them go down.
Round 5: Pedro Sosa, Offensive Tackle for Rutgers. He's a little undersized in his weight but he can easily make up for that. The simple reason we need him, is Tackles can go down at the slightest notice and having a decent tackle like Pedro can't hurt at all.
Round 6: Defensive Tackle Marcus Harrison Arkansas. Fred Robbins is old and doesn't have any left in him to excel to become the defensive tackle we want him to. If Alford can be a true and durable starter is still a question, we need someone beside Cofield and Harrison seems like a good match. He lacks some of the abilities to make plays
Round 7: Offense taking Dexter Jackson from good ol Appalachain State. A Wide out, taking him in to back up both Amani and Plax. A very fast and short reciever as we have in Sinorice Moss, but let's be honest, Sinorice Moss has shine glimmers of wow he could be good, but really hasn't stepped up when given the ability.
Be easy on me, my first mock.
