Giants sign Madison to 4 year deal
apprently former Dolphin Sam Madison will meet with the Giants. He would be a nice pickup for the Giants as long as he isn't to much, because he has lost a step or two.

This would be a good move for them, he's not the player he once was but a lot better then what they have at that spot now and his leadership would be great for a guy like Webster. Whether it's him or not they will get a CB this off season.

Madison is a good corner with experience...Just like Big boy said, he brings leadership to a young corner like Webster. Just don't expect the big plays that he used to have with Miami.

I would be very happy if Madison signed with the Giants. Our secondary was awful last year, and really needs a vetern leader to take charge back there...

Peterson can play when he's not hurt, it's just that the injury bug bites him all the time. If he can stay healthy and the pass rush plays like it did, having Madison, Peterson and Webster would make it very hard for opposing O's.

Ya, the DLine is great, so the secondary doesn't have to be amazing, just average and they should be alright. Peterson is a pretty good player, but he like the rest of the secondary is young. Someone like Madison has more experience and can act like a leader, and someone for the younger guys to look up to...

madison would be a good fit for the giants.
This reminds me of a childhood memory about another Sam M., Sam Mills
I was at the EAGLES vs Giants game the week before the eagles were to take on the Saints in the playoffs the season that was the first without Jerome and I remember sitting in the 700 level of the vet. I remember at halftime of that game the EAGLES won 20-10, they announced that the sixers had selected Shaun Bradley with the second pick in the draft and the crowd booed. Then as the game was drawing to an end a certain saint was walking around the ring of the upper deck to goad the eagles fans and tell us how the saints were going to win.
It was none other than Sam Mills. I watched him get pelted with pretzels and beers and fans yelling at the top of their lungs that the saints sucked. It was great. I was right behind him and being a teenager was screaming with the rest of the greatest lunatics in sports. He took it like a man though and earned my respect. I mean showing up in a hostile enviroment like that took balls. We went on to smash the saints the next week only to be killed by the cowboys on their way to superbowl victory, but I will always have that memory of sam mills.
btw, does anyone realize that madison only has like 2 interceptions in the last two years

Well he's not the super star he once was but still better then 90% of the CB's out there and something IMO the Giants need.
