The best "team" is Texas. Notre Dame has the best one side of the game covered, OFFENSE. I would also put LSU, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, and others in the mix behind UT for best overall, a sleeper would be Tennesee if they can keep the pace they are playing at now up for a year.
It's lookin like that Texas-OSU game is gonna be awesome.
Yeah last I checked it was 35-0 Ten over Cal, they could be good.

Ohio St. obviously has already proven some things about their team and over a talented Texas team. This young QB will possibly give problems again because just lack of experience for his first year. I see a possible upset brewing for them by OU. If it weren't for the true **** up in Eugene, the Sooners would be unblemished right now headed into the Red River Shootout. Presently, with considerations for the Eugene incident my Top 10 rankings would go like this; Ohio St., Auburn, Florida, USC, West Virginia, OU or Texas tied -#7 until played, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Michigan, Georgia. Of course, lets see what happens over the next few weeks. - Later
Very possible J-Unit. As I said, lets wait and see! One thing that I learned over the years in CFB, you never know what your going to get. As you and many reading this post, I have seen teams just surprise everyone on any given Saturday from the least likely to those who were performing on a consistent high level, have a break-out to a break-down performance! OU is starting to click, their QB(Paul Thompson) has gone from QB to WR back QB back to WR and now this season after the Bomar Blow up, back to QB! Thompson was rated the 14th best Athlete(catagory) his senior year out of HS by almost every recruiting publication. He has the ability to be a Vince Young type. He is 6'4" and can run and throw! Remember, he is a senior who has been jerked around quite a bit in a well talented program. Will one season be enough to prove so? Who knows! It is obvious so far, that he is getting more confortable and confident. I can tell you that OU is much better off without Chuck Long as the OC. For those of you who don't know about Kevin Wilson, when he was the OC at Northwestern, he had three out of the five years there in the Big Ten with the leading overall Offense and with the other two years as the second best overall offense. I personally will give Bob and some new members of his coaching staff a few years to see what is going to transpire. The enviorment and the meaning at the Cotton Bowl for the Red River Shoot-Out is quite intense and the air is full of electricity! I've been there a few times. The crowd there is very unreal! This rivalry compares to or is better than most! This is coming from a Trojan Fan but as I have stated earlier, I'll do my best to be honest in my thoughts and opinions. Lets face it, as CFB fans that is all we are worth in sharing our say about our passion for this great sport! You got to love it! Truefully, with instant replay, the UO game for the Sooners was rather pathetic! That is why is was to be implemented (establish accuracy and consistantcy). Two critical calls that changed the mometum and gave the advantage for the Ducks, sucks! In my mind and in all fairness, it was OU 33-20 UO! That is where that game was really at. All the Sooners would have had to do from that point was run the clock down! That is a certain fact! One thing about Bob Stoops and the team is their attitude for the rest of the season, it is behind them and play on! In my mind the Sooners are 4-0! They even moved up this week in the polls. I guess every TV camera that caught the footage of the truth on those plays has had a positive impact and fact for them. Mac has done a great job for UT the last several years but as I said, with these two teams you never know! This game brings out the best from both sides, most of the time! We'll see with the other conferences what transpires as well. I look for Ohio St., Auburn and possibly Florida run the table for theirs. We'll see! -Later ;)
