I have read so much research into the topic and my view is they don't change.

That game hurt so much then seeing Manning on the stage lifting the trophy that I know we could have easliy won. I want to beat them so bad next year, and see Brady lift that trophy again.

I don't know if it is that Tedy is getting older, or that he just isn't fast enough anymore, after the stroke. Throughout the season I was hoping against hope that it was just him getting back into the rythm, but I think its clear that isn't the case. He is probably going to retire. (Its hard to imagine that defense without Bruschi in there. - Heres to hoping I'm wrong!)

I really hope not. Teddy is extreemly vaulable for the team, but in all seriousness i would probably retire if i was him. Football is such a brutal sport that at some point you got to take care of yourself and quit. As a fan I want him to stay, but I wouldn't blame him for leaving. Like I applaud Tiki's decision.

Having a stroke is no walk in the park. If you're an athlete, it takes alot out of you mentally. I know. I suffered one back in July of '05.

Good point! We certainly can't complain about how much Teddy has given us! He's a class act, and I think fans will be willing to embrace whatever he decides. The guy has 3 Superbowl rings, and 3 wonderful children which he obviously wants to watch grow up. No matter how many times the doctors tell him that he is at no more risk than any other player to have a stroke, why chance it?
