Antowain Smith wasn't a bad RB. He seemed to get us yards when we needed them... a clutch player. He was also the perfect team player... he fit perfectly into the Patriots system. I miss those years... although I understand he is getting old, and probably wouldn't be affective now. Has he officially retired yet?

I heard that Buffalo is trying to sell McGahee... wonder if the Pats would have any interest in trying out another ex-Buffalo RB to see what they can get out of him. But they already have a starter, and he'd cost too much to be a backup. Just rambling. lol.

Regarding their WR problems, Moulds is now a free agent. Maybe we could have some success with that ex-Buffalo player... thats something I think could happen with the extra money they have to play with.

Dillion didn't matter. Maroney will be able to fit in nicely. I look at teh money they save on the cap, but if he was going to retire he should have just done that and saved the Pats around $2 million against the cap.
