I thnk it is early to make a final prediction. I like to see how new players are gelling with the team, I like to see how the offseason has affected each team and see what kind of attitude the "leaders" of the teams are in. I read pretty much every city's newspaper to hear what the players coaches and fans and media are saying and talking about. Then I make a prediction. However, right now I am leaning towards the dolphins edging the pats out at the end. This division, IMO, is going to be a struggle, for with the talent in the AFC, I think that whoever does win the divison makes the playoffs and whoever doesn't is out of the playoffs. That is why I said that I think the pats get 8 or 9 wins and you have your second place team that ends up out of the playoffs.

I'm not writing them off either. They'll still be a strong team, but it's harder to predict how they'll fare.

I am a dolphins fan and I have learned to never write off the Pats. Theyre a heck of a team with a heck of a coach and a heck of a quarterback. Anyone would be a fool to say that they wont be a serious contender, Miami will be hot on their tails soon though. Saban is getting the phins around.

I haven't written them off for this year, but I think they'll be an even stronger contender next year, once they've had a chance to come together as a team.

They're putting together a strong team that's only going to get stronger as they learn to work together.
