It says its unlikely, but there is now the possibility that the deal could be nullified. Interesting... I hope that doesn't happen. I think Welker would be great for the Pats.

Yeah it says that something like that happening is very unlikely... because the Dolphins are happy with the trade. But has anything like that ever happened? I was interested, cause I had never heard of it happening in the past.

I'm hoping that Dolphins management looks at it that way as well. He was actually your best WR this year, and that was playing with a horrible qb, and a horrible offensive line. He is also one of the best ST returners in the game... All you have to do is watch him play to realize that he has proven himself an excellent talent, and a team player. The Patriots can't lose with him. You might get the same thing in return with a 2nd and 7th round pick... then again, you might not. You know how that works.

Yeah, he was the most consistent. Either Chambers or Booker, although I'm sure it was Chambers, had a lot of drops, and Wes Welker gave them a good returner. And for a 3rd string receiver to lead the team in catches, and be second in yards, that speeks about how important he was last year.
