the pats lost a lot of talent at the WR position so watson will have to step up this year. he will prolly b there primary focus in the passin game this season.
he will be a big part of the offense, but Branch will be the primary focus.
Branch and Watson are a huge one two punnch. It is a win win thing. I don't think that will save them though. All the losses add up and I say they win 8 games at most.
With these TEs and a pretty good receiving core, this team is looking good on the passing attack. Unfortunately, Dillon is on the way down and the running attack doesn't have much else. This team will still be a near playoff team, maybe 10-6.

what do you mean the running attack doesn't have much else, they drafted Maroney. He should be able to contribute a lot this year.
Very interresting. The problem the last few years was overcrowding at the TE position for the Pats. One guy would have a huge week, the next week it would be the other TE, and the week after that the 3rd TE.
i wouldnt take it that far....branch will be there number 1 reciever and the main focus but i personally love ben watson...i cant remember what game last year but i think it was champ bailey who had int a pass and was lolly gaggin down the sideline and ben watson just busted his *** and ran him down from about 60 yards...he drilled him and almost caused a touchback if im not mistaking...does anyone recall that?
Yeah, that was a denver/new england game. that was a helluva play by watson - bailey had NO IDEA he was about to get annihilated by a TE racing down the field and pulled up at the last second. the call on the touchback was awfully close, but was still a great effort by watson. shows the kind of player he is willing to be. lot of guys wouldn't have even tried
