Tom Brady Wants Time Off When Baby's Born - Sports News Story - KGTV San Diego

Tom Brady has more on his mind than football.

The Patriots quarterback said he'd like some time off when his first child is born. His former girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, is expected to give birth shortly.

Brady declined Monday to reveal her due date and said the team's schedule would affect any plans for time off. The Patriots have two more exhibition games on Friday at Carolina and the following Thursday at home against the New York Giants. New England opens the season at the New York Jets on Sept. 9.

Coach Bill Belichick said he will treat Brady as he does any other player who wants time off for personal issues.

Cant blame the guy for wanting to spend sometime with his kid, you have to respect that. But what do you think time off would do? Would his time off bring Cassle to the line??

Ya thats what im wondering, I cant see him stepping aside in week 3 to take a month off. Well unless he is the one delevering the baby in which case Im all for it.
